Imagine being able to correct your refractive error while you sleep.  Orthokeratology or Ortho-K is a technology that utilizes a special contact lens that gently reshapes your cornea while you sleep so that during the day time, you can take off the contact lenses and see clearly.  The great thing about Ortho-K is that the effects are reversible.  If you try reshaping your cornea, and decide that you want laser eye surgery, or return back to glasses or standard contact lenses, you can do that easily.
