The Shamir Autograph II is the most advanced and clear progressive lens available. It is the lens that both Dr. David and Pam choose to wear in their frames. Each lens is created from a single vision blank and accounts for both how the chosen frame sits on the individual patients face as well as the patients lifestyle needs. With segment heights starting at 11mm, it can fit into almost any size frame.

The Shamir Autograph II was developed, not only with patented Freeform Optics™, but also with FreeFrame Technology™. The ground breaking FreeFrame Technology™ element adapts the progressive lens design to the frame itself. Based on the frame shape, this feature dynamically adjusts the corridor length and moves the reading zone to the most optimal positions in the frame, retaining the full reading power! Available in heights from 11mm and up, our progressive lens wearers now have the freedom to choose any frame they like. Every frame picked will have the most optimal design specifically tailored to the frame and patient.

Shamir Autograph II also incorporates As-Worn Technology™ into its design. By taking three additional, specific measurements from the patient in the frame of their choosing, the Shamir Prescriptor™ software will automatically use these measurements to further refine the prescription given to the patient by Dr. David. The resulting calculations will grind a more accurate lens and provide the patient with the proper prescription for the frame shape as it's worn on the face.

The Shamir Autograph II™ comes in two designs to fit every one of our patients particular activities. The fixed design offers an increased reading area while keeping a constant intermediate area. This design is for patients who mostly use their add power for  near work. We recommend this design for avid readers, bead workers and sewers, mechanics and construction workers and the like.

The Shamir Autograph II™ is also available in a variable design. This design is the opposite of the fixed design. With the variable design, the reading area remains constant while the intermediate area can be lengthened or shortened. This design is recommended for our patients who actively use the intermediate area of their progressive lens. This design is preferred for our patients who spend a lot of time in front of their computer, driving  or who are new to the progressive lens.

All of these features combine to give the most comfortable progressive lens on the market. With wider  corridors, less distortion,  larger frame selection and less adaptation time, why not choose the  Shamir Autograph II?
