Dr. David, father of 2 fine sons and married to the same beautiful lady of 36 years, was born and raised a High Plains farmer, received a B.S. in Physical Science with a minor in Chemistry, and finished his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1973, Alpha Kappa Lambda, Memphis, TN. Since, he has been in private practice. Having lived in Pullman since 1986, he might be classified as a native. A 30-year member of the American Optometric Association and the Academy of Optometry, he has written several professional articles on eye care, and at one time wrote a health care column for Pullman's only newspaper, The Pullman Herald.
Dr. David is a long-time member of Pullman's Emmanual Baptist Church, has served on the board of the Chamber of Commerce and United Way. Further, he has been active in Boy Scouts, EeDaHow Bowhunters and took part in starting the Palouse Associated Wrestlers. He is a freelance writer, a photographer, and fanatic archer.
